YUKARI ART is pleased to announce that Kazuharu ISHIKAWA and Yui FUJINAGA are going to have a two-person exhibition "With the spring breeze" at Bora Gallery located in a small seaside village Utsumi-cho in Fukuyama,Hiroshima.
This exhibition is produced by "setouchi-maru",a group organized by young local volunteers to vitalize Utsumi-cho.Utsumi-cho is a beautiful place surrounded by full of nature,however this village is getting severely depopulated as in other rural areas in Japan.YUKARI ART is going to support the group by running art exhibitions and events there by our represented artists.
Kazuharu ISHIKAWA（born in 1977・Nara）and Yui FUJINAGA（born in 1981・Hiroshima）both graduated from art universities in Tokyo had been based in the capital area for about 15 years.In 2014,they moved their atelier to Hiroshima and have been living and working there since then.It is a great opportunity for us to introduce the artists and their works to the local people.We hope that people in Utsumi-cho will enjoy their works and rediscover great things about their home town through the exhibition and also hope that people outside the area become interests in this village and reacknowledge natural resources of Japan.
