Shintaro OHATA and Hiroki TASHIRO's works are now being exhibited at "ZIPANGU exhibition" held at Hachinohe City Museum of Art.

It has been about 700 years since Marco Polo dubbed Japan “Zipangu, the Land of Gold,” and spread word of it across Europe. Now, contemporary art being created in Japan is well received by people all over the world with fresh discoveries and surprises. This exhibition introduces art works by up-and-coming artists who express themselves uninhibitedly while continuing the traditional arts of Japan, but not keeping themselves within the traditional limits of expression.
