Spring has come.
And my solo exhibition has started at YUKARI ART mini.
You can see two of new works of ISHIKAWA Kazuharu.
Left one is ' Tulip Apr. 4 green ',
and right is ' Tulip Apr. 4 sakura '.
The model of these works is the same tulip.
Their appearances of the morning and evening of the same day.
I felt they seemed to be dancing happily.
And I wanted to see what kind of groove would create when they'd be placed side by side.
I heard tulip has another name " ukonko ".
I changed " k " to " c ", added a macron on " o ".
And I named my mini exhibition ' u c o n c ō '.
When you pronounce " u " as the shorter " wu " not " you " ,
I expect it sounds like a back- beat music.
By the way,
Sakura was blooming wherever I visited in these days.
I got so many especially beautiful views even from the window of Shinkansen.
As you might know, Megurogawa river located near YUKARI ART mini is the one of the famous Sakura spots, too.
It was fine.
All around of this area was crowed and crowded as if it was a festival of Sakura lovers.
I finished setting the works on the wall.
However something in my inside couldn't stop the creation.
I walked to the riverside again and got a petal of Sakura falling gently into my breast pocket.
Then I added it to the bottom left of ' Tulip Apr. 4 sakura '.
Moreover scribbles of yarn too.
